Luckily, so far everyone in our communities remains healthy.We hope through our frequent cleanings of the common areas and the smart practices our members and team have put in place, it'll stay that way! However, if someone does get sick, we'll be sure to let all affected members know so they can make the plans to limit exposure as they see fit. Since each member's journey is a little different, we'll work with each on a case-by-case basis to ensure the best resolution possible given the situation.
In order to ensure our communities are following social distancing measures put in place by local governments, we have prohibited guests from visiting the communities without a Community Director’s approval and temporarily suspended in-person events . Our Community Experience team is still dedicated to fostering community through weekly virtual events that now all members regardless of city can attend together!
We’ve detailed the measures we are taking in all communities on our blog. We will continue to closely monitor any new updates from the CDC and local officials to make sure we evolve our approach as new information becomes available.
In the unfortunate case that a member has been financially impacted by COVID-19, our Community Directors are dedicated to working with each member on a case-by-case basis to ensure the best resolution is met.
You can ask them! Once you’re approved, we can connect you with housemates who can share their practices with you. We frequently get requests to connect with newcomers and they would welcome the opportunity to chat.
